Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu National Reserve
Your 5 Day Samburu and Maasai Mara Fly-in Safari begins with a scenic scheduled flight from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport. Soaring over the highlands, you will descend into the rugged, breathtaking landscapes of the Samburu National Reserve.
Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be met by our team and transferred to the elegant Soroi Larsens Camp. This will be your luxury home for the next two nights. After checking in, take time to relax and settle into your tented suite before heading out for your first thrilling game drive in this unique ecosystem.
Day 2: Exploring Samburu’s Rugged Beauty
Spend the full day immersed in the wild. Samburu is famous for the “Special Five”, are species found only in this region, including the Grevy’s zebra and Reticulated giraffe.
Two shared game drives in custom open-sided 4×4 vehicles.

Day 3: Samburu – Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will stay at the Soroi Luxury Migration Camp, perfectly positioned to offer expansive views of the plains. After settling in, wind down your day with a classic “Out of Africa” sundowner experience, watching the sunset over the savannah with a cold drink in hand.
Day 4: The Ultimate Maasai Mara Experience
Wake up to the sounds of the African bush for a full day of exploration in the Mara. This reserve offers some of the highest densities of predators in Africa.
Two extended shared game drives to track the Big Five.
Picnic meals in the bush (highly recommended during migration season).
Campfire snacks, afternoon tea, and sweet treats back at camp.

Day 5: Maasai Mara – Nairobi
