Malee Safaris – Itinerary Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Reservations
A booking is confirmed once a deposit is received.
Full payment must be completed 30 days prior to travel.
For last-minute bookings (within 14 days), full payment is required at the time of confirmation.
2. Payments
Payments can be made via bank transfer, M-Pesa, or approved online payment platforms.
All bank charges or transfer fees are borne by the client.
Quoted rates are subject to availability at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation fees apply as follows:
60–45 days before travel: 20% of total cost
44–30 days before travel: 50% of total cost
29–0 days / No-show: 100% of total cost
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 14 working days.
Note: Some lodges and airlines have stricter policies; their terms take precedence.
4. Amendments
Any changes after booking confirmation may incur amendment fees.
Changes are subject to availability of hotels, vehicles, and flights.
5. Rates & Price Adjustments
Prices are based on current park fees, fuel costs, taxes, and exchange rates.
Malee Safaris reserves the right to adjust prices if government levies or park fees change.
6. Safari Vehicle & Guide
Clients must follow all safety instructions from the driver-guide.
Off-road driving, feeding animals, or interfering with wildlife is strictly prohibited.
Malee Safaris may withdraw transport services for unsafe or unlawful behavior.
7. Accommodation
Accommodation is provided as per the itinerary (BB, HB, FB).
In case of overbooking or unforeseen circumstances, equivalent or upgraded lodging will be provided.
8. Travel Documents
Clients are responsible for valid passports, visas, vaccination certificates, and travel permits.
Malee Safaris is not liable for denied entry due to incomplete documentation.
9. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance (medical, cancellation, baggage) is highly recommended.
Malee Safaris is not responsible for loss, damage, injury, or delays caused by third parties.
10. Wildlife & Park Rules
Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed; nature is unpredictable.
Clients must adhere to all park regulations.
11. Force Majeure
Malee Safaris is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by:
Natural disasters
Political unrest
Weather conditions
Flight disruptions
Epidemics
Any events beyond our control
Any additional costs arising from such events are borne by the client.
12. Liability
Malee Safaris takes all reasonable precautions but is not liable for loss, injury, or damage during the safari.
Transport, lodges, and airlines operate independently and carry their own liability.
13. Complaints
Any dissatisfaction should be reported immediately to the guide or office.
Complaints after the safari will be reviewed and addressed fairly.
14. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking and making payment, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
